A Guinness World Records title has been broken by Mother India’s Crochet Queens for the Largest display of crochet sculptures.
Members of the organisation – from all over the world – handmade 58,917 items to beat the record set by the British group, The Craft Club, back in 2014, of 13,388 crocheted sculptures.
Subashri Natarajan is the woman behind this huge project, Her chosen theme was “Go Green, Save Earth,” and the display depicting the evolution of humans and planet Earth from the beginning of time to present day. The age group who picked up their crochet hooks and yarn were between 6 and 86 year. Well done to everyone.
